Alcaplast company can celebrate. New, touch-free flush plates NIGHT LIGHT, draw attention at the prestigious iF Design Award 2018. Sixty-three-member international jury selected NIGHT LIGHT as the winner in the category Product, section Bathrooms.

The intention of the iF Design Award, which was established in 1953, is not only to appreciate excellent design world. The winning products must pass the challenging criteria focused on environmental-friendliness, functionality and renewability of resources. The victory in iF Design Award is a key for the participants to open up new markets and opportunities, how to get into the awareness of international media.

"We are very excited. In recent years we have intended to shift the perception of our products not only as a high quality commodities, but also with the premium design,"did not hide the enthusiasm Executive Director Radka Prokopová and added that the biggest share of success of flush plates NIGHT LIGHT have the research and development department that worked closely with the marketing department and designer Barbora Škorpilová.

"We had a long discussion about the design of flush plates NIGHT LIGHT. Eventually, however, we agreed, and we are very pleased that our choice was also confirmed by the world class jury, "said Prokopová.

Awards ceremony was held on Friday March 9, 2018 with the participation of almost two thousand guests from forty countries around the world and took place in the impressive museum building BMW Welt in Munich, Bavaria.

"It was a fantastic evening. The NIGHT LIGHT flush plates have been presented on the stage alongside such amazing cars as BMW and Ferrari, or products of Grohe, Samsung or Apple. I was surprised that from the sanitary industry did not come out many winners. From the Czech Republic there were only representatives from the field of sanitary systems," said Alcaplast Export Manager Petr Zelinka, who also highlighted the effort of the iF Design Award in awarding projects to help needy people. He added that the winning products will be on display at the HafenCity in Hamburg.

Flush plates NIGHT LIGHT complement the successful serie FLAT. The customers have the possibility to participate in the unique appearance of flush plates and fit colour of backlight and other features with the atmosphere of their toilets or bathrooms.
